[Responsibilities]
  • Manage day-to-day client relationships and maintain positive client satisfaction
  • Seek opportunities to be creative and innovative in serving clients
  • Work closely with engagement partner and staff to meet client expectations
  • Manage the assignment budgets and profitability in area of responsibility
  • Keep current on applicable professional standards
  • Develop new client contacts and relationships beneficial to the firm
  • Role model and mentor to new and existing staff
  • Keen interest in personal career growth & development
  • Assist in firm administrative functions as assigned by the partners
  • Participate in recruitment, business planning and retention initiatives
[Qualification]
  • CPA License or actively working and minimum of 5-7 years of public accounting experience
  • Five-to-seven-year experience in corporate income tax compliance, tax accounting, and tax consulting
  • U.S. GAAP/GAAS knowledge
  • Demonstrates an ability to function at a high level in a deadline driven, time-sensitive environment
  • Must be a team player
  • Strong tax accounting and analytical skills.
  • Strong technical skills in tax compliance and tax research
  • Strong computer skills: proficiency in tax accounting software, Excel, Word.
  • Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills.
  • Business level proficiency in English required – Dual business level proficiency in Japanese required.
  • Detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
  • Manage, develop and mentor staff, assisting with professional growth and development of staff
  • Demonstrate leadership, problem solving, and solid oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
