Product Development Coordinator

• Assist in new product and packaging development by effectively working with multiple stakeholders.
• Serve as a liaison with QA departments overseas and FDA consultants to ensure compliance with food labeling regulations during product development.
• Coordinate with designers and vendors to prepare product packaging, providing feedback and recommendations on design elements.
• Review label artwork and proofs to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Prepare and update product specifications, sell sheets, and price lists as needed.
• Facilitate the distribution of information on product updates and new product announcements to the Sales Department, SCM Department, and distributor partners.
• Manage product data platforms, such as One World Sync, to ensure the timely sharing of up-to-date information with retail and wholesale customers.
• Provide support to the Product Development team and managers in various product development and marketing projects.

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in product development or sales support in the food companies or a similar field is preferred.
• Fluency in Japanese in reading, writing, and speaking.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with FDA food labeling regulations and safety regulations is a plus.
