Summary
As a Business Development Engineer, this role involves playing a key part in expanding the ceramic components business within the U.S. market. 

Close collaboration with customers is essential to understand their specific requirements and offer tailored solutions that leverage advanced ceramic technologies. The position demands both technical expertise and a strong sales background to build long-term partnerships and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers in the U.S. market, with a focus on industries requiring high-reliability ceramic components.
  • Conduct technical presentations, highlighting the advantages of our ceramic components in meeting industry-specific demands.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to provide customized solutions based on customer specifications.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and detailed sales documentation, ensuring accuracy and clarity in product specifications.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, consistently working to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback, providing insights to the management team.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and generate regular reports on sales performance and customer activity.

Since many products are customized, it is essential to gather customer feedback and requirements, as well as collaborate with engineers and the production department.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Electronics, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years experiences in technical sales or sales engineering within ceramic components, electronic components, or similar high-reliability fields.
  • Strong knowledge of AlN multilayered Ceramic Substrate and Packages or antennas and their applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel within the U.S. to meet with clients as required.
