Job Description

Are you interested in working as part of a polyglot team to develop, coordinate, and support the automation and configuration management of a leading edge, intelligent microservice mesh network? Are you ready to support the deployment of our Service Mesh to development, test and production environments of our growing client base? Decipher Technology Studio’s product, Grey Matter service mesh, provides infrastructure transparency and controls that complement DevOps, continuous integration/continuous development (CI/CD), cloud native architectures, and the communication and security required in hybrid cloud implementations.

You should have experience deploying and managing distributed systems. You get extra credit if have experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and working with associated tools. This is a great position for those looking for a small company environment but big company benefits. This position has remote work options.

This position is allowing REMOTE work except if & when needed on client site.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum Secret US government security clearance
  • 3 years of recent hands on development and/or DevOps experience
  • Hands on experience building and updating CI/CD pipelines
  • Hands on experience installing, managing and troubleshooting deployments
  • Understanding of the service mesh concept
  • Hands on experience automating systems using configuration management, provisioning and/or orchestration tools with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, GIT, Amazon EKS or OpenShift
  • Proficiency working with Linux systems
  • Experience with AWS cloud networking technologies
  • Experience developing with Go, C or Python
  • 2+ years of recent scripting experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience
  • Ability to create your scripts from scratch or development experience
  • Experience building, updating and managing Docker Images
  • Experience with microservices
