The SharePoint Administrator will be the senior administrator on the Collaboration Admin Team and provide development support for all SharePoint On-premise and SharePoint Online services and applications. Role includes configuration, administration, installation, maintenance, solution/script deployments, support model management, troubleshooting, using best practices for availability and reliability, performance monitoring, usage reporting and security. This role is expected to be the SharePoint Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide recommendations that improve SharePoint performance, drive end user adoption and introduce solutions that improve associate productivity and solve business problems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Provide ongoing administration and development support services for SharePoint and other collaboration applications and Office 365 to include: OneDrive, Stream, PowerApps, Microsoft Flow, Power BI, DocuSign, LucidChart, etc.
•Converts business requirements into technical solutions using the appropriate and applicable out-of-box SharePoint and/or Office 365 features and functionality.
•Collaborates with other SharePoint developers, admins and business stakeholders to create SharePoint and Azure solutions that resolve business needs.
•Configures, deploys and manages web applications, site collections, SharePoint applications and custom solutions.
•Assists in securing the SharePoint infrastructure and data, ensures proper maintenance of SharePoint platform.
•Monitors system usage, SharePoint reports and produces system analytics on usage, as needed.
•Documents internal processes and maintains technical documentation.
•Manages configuration settings to include user accounts, authentication and other security-related operations.
•Identifies risks and makes recommendations for best practices and governance compliance.
•Provides technical support of SharePoint workflows, Business Connectivity Services (BCS) Connections and application integrations.
•Provides recommendations on SharePoint Site architecture, design, and processes.
•Serves as tier 3 technical support for SharePoint-related incidents and requests.
