SharePoint Developer Level 1

Job Description
SG2 Recruiting is working with ATS, a young information technology consulting company, to recruit and hire a SharePoint Developer Level 1. The SharePoint Developer Level 1 will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the NCS SharePoint environment. The candidate will also interact with Government Lead and customers to capture user requirements in order to design and develop the most effective enhancements that will meet customer needs.

Specific responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing software using .NET, Web Services and JavaScript
  • Manage small-scale SharePoint site-development
  • Maintain and update SharePoint master pages
  • Gather software requirements in support of software specification designs
  • Assist in developing web pages using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Assist in developing web pages using SharePoint object model .NET
  • Manage software development projects
  • Maintain and administer the SharePoint site-collection architecture
  • Assist in developing data driven applications using coding technologies (such as: .NET, ColdFusion, Java, PHP)
  • Assist in developing web pages using jQuery/SharePoint Service

Required Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI FS poly
  • Four (4) years experience in software development and software project management in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional experience, for a total of Eight (8) years, may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
  • One (1) year experience in SharePoint site-collection architecture and administration
  • Two (2) years experience in requirements gathering and software specification design
  • Two (2) years experience in SharePoint site-development
  • Three (3) years experience in HTML, and CSS
Desired Qualifications:
  • Ability to work with leadership and clients to identify and revise approaches
  • Experience providing technical direction and guidance regarding design and implementation
  • Experience assisting with and/or coordinating the activities of others to meet over-arching client program requirements
  • Experience developing and delivering formal customer presentations and proposals
  • Experience coordinating project status with highly technical stakeholders, technical managers and government leaders
  • Experience working in or with U.S. agencies responsible for national security
