Product Procurement Specialist

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with procurement and acquisition teams to develop comprehensive documentation for FEMA ONCP CCD and FNARS.
2. Assist in the preparation of Request for Proposals (RFPs), statements of work, and other procurement-related documents.
3. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and make recommendations based on findings.
4. Support the evaluation and selection process of suppliers/vendors, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between procurement requirements and project objectives.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier/vendor information.
7. Assist in reviewing contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the organization.
8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to procurement and acquisition.
   
   

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2. Two to Five years experience in procurement, acquisition, or supply chain management roles is highly desirable.
3. Must possess or be eligible for Top Secret (TS) clearance and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access.
4. Strong understanding of government procurement regulations, policies, and procedures.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
6. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
7. Proficient in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant procurement software tools.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
