The right candidate will be responsible for refining, documenting and executing the build and release process for software development; including bug fixes, patches and configuration files into production. They will also maintain systems and software products throughout the product life cycle and coordinate all release efforts (tagging, building, planning, beta/QA environments, QA process, etc) for multiple systems in development, test/staging and into production. Define, refine, document and implement a plan for moving software assets from source control systems to test and production environment. Review and evaluate tools to automate deployment process and code source control.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Works closely with internal technology teams to patch builds, execute build tests, document results and publish patch notes
  • Ensure patch configuration is up to date
  • Utilize tools to automate patch creation, including defining dependencies, moving labels, submitting build and test requests for major, minor, and patch releases
  • Responsible for patching assets in test and production environments while ensuring quality
  • Configure, maintain and administer version control tools
  • Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) and Technical Review Board (TRB) meetings to discuss release scope and/or roadblocks
  • Negotiate, plan and manage patch activities
  • 24/7 support required


Preferred Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
  • Familiar with UNIX and Windows servers, VMware
  • Written and verbal communication skills are a must
  • 3 years minimal patch management experience



  • Education Required: Bachelors (Technical)
  • Experience Required: 3+ years relevant experience
  • IT-1 and Secret Clearance Required
