Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform precise X-ray imaging procedures as prescribed by physicians, prioritizing both diagnostic accuracy and patient well-being.
  • Properly position and prepare patients to capture precise, high-resolution diagnostic images
  • Ensure patient well-being by maintaining a safe and comfortable experience during the imaging procedure.
  • Manage and utilize X-ray machinery, ensuring optimal performance and accurate calibration.
  • Examine images to ensure they meet quality standards and follow guidelines for storing images.
  • Comply with radiation safety standards and infection control guidelines.
  • Precisely record patient details and fill out necessary paperwork.
  • Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and imaging techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Certification: ARRT certification in Radiography is required.
  • Licensure: Current state licensure as mandated by law.
  • Education: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent from an accredited program.
  • Experience: At least 1-2 years as a Radiologic Technologist, preferably in an outpatient or clinical setting.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Thorough expertise in radiology techniques, anatomical details, and correct patient alignment.
  • Capable in handling radiologic machinery and imaging programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient care.
  • Skilled at excelling in dynamic settings while juggling various responsibilities efficiently.
  • Detail-focused with excellent structural management abilities.
  • Dedicated to preserving client privacy and upholding ethical standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background working in day clinics or walk-in healthcare facilities.
  • BLS certification.
  • Familiarity with complementary scanning techniques (such as computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging) is beneficial.
