Worship Leader
Shepherd Staff is honored to be working with First Baptist Church in Belle Glade, FL as they search for their next Worship Pastor. FBC Belle Glade is relevant biblical community where people gather their hearts, grow their souls and give their lives as we seek to fulfill the Great Commission here in the Glades and all around the World.
The Worship Pastor at Belle Glade’s First Baptist Church is someone with a deep love for Jesus Christ and His people; someone with a passion for music and the role it plays in congregational worship; someone who is able to thrive in a team environment; and someone who is able to envision and energize a community using the great hymns of the past and the current contemporary expressions of worship to create a relevant worship experience. Additionally we are seeking a bi-lingual candidate as we are in the process of partnering with a Spanish Speaking SBC church and will need them to lead that service as well.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be fluent in Spanish
- Lead the formation and coordination of a Worship Ministry Team. Recruit, schedule, develop, and mentor instrumentalists, vocalists, and technical volunteers.
- Participate on the Worship Planning Team for weekly planning, production, and evaluation of thematically integrated services using a blend of selections worship services.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Become knowledgeable in the lighting, sound, and presentation software, and be able to assist in the use of these production components when needed.
- Work with outreach team to identify ways to have an impact within our community to take the gospel to the people of the Glades area.
- Develop and execute a plan and strategy for social media/print media etc to keep FBC Belle Glade current and relevant.
- This incudes maintaining of church website.
