JOB DESCRIPTION

- Hours – 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS NEEDED
- Must be proficient in Workload Automation tools, Control-M and File transfer applications.
- Designs, analyzes, develops, modifies, installs, tests and maintains systems software and hardware.
- Assists with vendor evaluations, modifies and/or debugs vendor-supplied utilities and packages, and prepares technical documentation for telecommunications, network, and system software applications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provides day-to-day technical support (level 2) to all IT teams and end-users for network, server, general IT infrastructure, and security-related issues.
- Defines system and product requirements and generate software / hardware performance and reliability specifications and requirements.
- Participates in the evaluation, design, and integration of all enhancements or new releases of the system.
- Makes recommendations to enhance processes, procedures, and policies relating to systems functioning and performance .
- Coordinates with multiple functional areas and vendors on the planning, upgrading, testing, securing, and servicing of IT solutions.
- Designs and implement architecturally compliant system landscapes.
- Develops, modify, test, implement, document, and maintain systems software and hardware.
- Modifies and/or debug vendor-supplied utilities and packages.
- Troubleshoots and resolve server, operating system, and other infrastructure problems.
- Monitors systems capacity and performance and provide level 2 technical support.
- Continues to learn about servers, operating systems, and related technology.
- Serves as a technical resource for infrastructure initiatives.
- Performs troubleshooting and remediation, ensure successful project implementation, and perform post project end user support.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Any experience in enterprise scheduling tools.
- Manage File Transfer experience.
- Scripting (SQL, Python, etc.)
- Application integrator.
EXPERIENCE
- Requires 2 – 4 years of related experience.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science.)
