Position Responsibilities

Oversees the daily operation of Workday.

Recommends process improvements, innovative solutions, identifies major variations from established policy and system configuration.

Supports Workday by leading the research and issue resolution process, testing solutions, and communicating resolution to customers.

Diagnoses and troubleshoots system issues including data errors, security, process and integration issues with a focus on identifying the root cause and creative problem-solving.

Analyzes errors and utilizes various resources such as Workday Community to drive resolutions and identify root cause.

Leads the deployment of Workday bi-annual releases, enhancements, and upgrades including change management with process owners.

Participates in and sometimes leads the ongoing design, configuration, deployment and maintenance of Workday changes, issues, and enhancements.

Participates in compensation model development and forecasting of the expected outcomes for new and ongoing HR, compensation, and benefits programs.

Supports and sometimes develops maintenance of inbound/outbound Workday HCM integrations to third party vendors including payroll and benefits providers.

Performs data uploads into Workday as needed (EIB).

Develops test plans and project plans for upgrades/new functionality.

Creates and updates documentation and training/quick reference guides for pertinent system implementations, upgrades, and modifications. Provides appropriate communications as upgrades and modifications occur.

Conducts training, including developing user procedures, guidelines, and documentation. Trains Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Human Resources, managers and associates on new processes/functionality.

Develops and maintains simple to complex reports, hubs, and dashboards, working with functional teams to understand and interpret the information.

Runs and distributes scheduled reports and supports business requests for ad-hoc report generation.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Experience
-
Five or more years of experience with HR Information System configuration and support.

Experience working within the Human Resources department is preferred.

Experience with Workday configuration and administration (Experience and knowledge of Workday HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Absence and Timekeeping).

Advanced knowledge of Workday domains, data structures and reporting functional areas (e.g. within Core HCM, Reporting, Compensation, Talent, Benefits and Payroll).

Outstanding customer service skills.

Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to consult with stakeholders and identify metrics and interpretation needed in deliverables.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including advanced formulas, creating pivot tables, graphics, charts).

Self-motivated with a focus on driving results and strong sense of accountability.
