We are seeking an experienced and driven Wholesale Director - Global to lead and expand our brand's wholesale business on a global scale. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will manage the brand's distribution and presence across partners, visual corners, and shop-in-shops (SIS). This role is pivotal in driving sales, optimizing merchandising strategies, and ensuring the brand's standards are upheld across all wholesale channels, including full price and off-price markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the P&L of the department, setting and achieving sales and margin goals.

  • Define and implement strategic sales and merchandising plans to grow global business.

  • Forecast seasonal and 3-year growth plans, allocating annual and seasonal targets by account and product category.

  • Organize and oversee three major sales markets per year, managing market appointments and presentations.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to create master style lists, digital linesheets, and lookbooks.

  • Conduct sales appointments with both existing and prospective clients, handling budgets, OTB, and final order approvals.

  • Partner with the CEO & Logistics Director to meet sales minimums and optimize inventory for re-orders and new orders outside of standard market periods.

  • Generate seasonal market reports with financial, account, and product performance insights.

  • Cultivate relationships with decision-makers at key accounts and international partners, ensuring brand standards are upheld both online and in physical stores.

  • Lead store visits, coordinate brand trainings, and identify growth opportunities for key items and categories.

  • Create seasonal and long-term merchandising plans that align with financial targets and market trends.

  • Collaborate with Marketing on wholesale initiatives including social media, in-store events, and digital advertising.

  • Prospect for new clients and locations to expand the brand's global reach.

  • Execute monthly sales reports, financial updates, and forecasting to track wholesale performance.

  • Develop reporting tools to provide actionable insights for internal teams, maximizing sales performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree required.

  • 6+ years of sales experience with proven relationships with senior management at top-tier retailers.

  • Expertise in swimwear and international markets is highly preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills with financial acumen in P&L management, retail math, and budgeting.

  • Proven ability in merchandising, business development, and negotiation.

  • Strategic thinker with hands-on capabilities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High attention to detail, with strong planning and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $125,000 - $140,000, based on experience and qualifications.

  • Benefits: Generous PTO, holidays, sick time, 401K with company match, clothing allowance, generous discounts, and a bonus structure.
