We are searching for Maintenance Technician to join our client’s growing team.

Basic duties of the Maintenance Technician include responsibility for safe daily maintenance of scrap yard equipment. Responsible for maintenance repairs on all equipment including, shredder, eddy current, hydraulics, etc. Troubleshoot malfunctioning systems for test equipment, production equipment and hand tools. Interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics. Changing liners, grates, hammers on shredder. Perform preventative maintenance repairs, scheduled repair projects and normal production. Perform daily inspections on equipment.
Qualifications for the position include:
- 2+ years electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in either heavy industrial operations and/or manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of NEC codes
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and stick welding
- Ability to operate mobile equipment as needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-stop environment
Preferred qualifications include:
- 5+ years of experience with welding, cutting, fabrication, and equipment maintenance
