We have an opportunity for a relationship-driven, thoughtful Wealth Advisor to join a boutique independent RIA with a deliberately managed, high-trust client base.

This role is designed for an advisor who values depth over volume, proactive planning over reactive service, and wants to build long-term client relationships without the pressure of business development.

This is a non-sales role within a highly collaborative firm that screens aggressively for client fit and prioritizes trust, transparency, and real-world advocacy. The right advisor will step into an established planning environment with meaningful client interaction, strong internal support, and room to grow alongside senior partners.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a primary or secondary advisor to clients, delivering comprehensive financial advice across planning, investments, and tax-aware strategies
  • Prepare for and participate in client meetings, including agenda development, plan updates, and follow-up execution

  • Collaborate closely with senior advisors on financial plan construction, recommendations, and ongoing refinement

  • Provide proactive client support, including:

    • Tax planning coordination and preparation workflows

    • Medicare eligibility reviews, open enrollment support, and plan comparisons

    • Real-world guidance clients rely on beyond traditional portfolio management

  • Ensure accurate documentation, task tracking, and follow-through within the firm’s CRM and planning systems

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of planning workflows, client experience, and service cadence

  • Maintain a service-first mindset focused on long-term relationships, accountability, and client advocacy

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-10 years experience as a Wealth Advisor, Associate Advisor, or similar client-facing planning role

  • CFP certification strongly preferred, or active progress toward CFP with commitment to completion

  • Planning-oriented mindset with interest in holistic financial advice (not product-driven or sales-focused)

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable engaging with clients by phone, video, and in person

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable; able to manage multiple client priorities simultaneously

  • Collaborative, humble, and comfortable in a “pitch-in” environment where no task is beneath anyone

  • Interest in building a long-term career within a small, values-driven advisory firm
