Position: Wealth Advisor

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Wealth Manager to provide financial planning and investment management to high-net-worth clients. This client-focused role manages 50-100 relationships with no business development required—growth is driven by referrals. This hybrid position (4 days in-office, 1 remote) requires a manageable commute.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with 50-100 high-net-worth clients, providing comprehensive financial planning and investment management.
  • Conduct portfolio reviews, align investment strategies with client goals, and ensure adherence to fiduciary standards.
  • Manage client assets, oversee account transitions, and collaborate with internal teams for a seamless client experience.
  • Educate clients on investment philosophy, financial planning strategies, and retirement plans.
  • Support firm-wide initiatives and contribute to team-oriented, client-first culture.
  • Maintain compliance with SEC and FINRA regulations while leveraging financial planning software such as Orion and Junxure.
  • Participate in retirement plan management, including trustee meetings and employee education sessions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term retention through exceptional service and communication.

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • CFP® or CPA/PFS certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years in the financial services industry.

Skills Required:

  • Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with high-net-worth clients.
  • Knowledge of investment strategies, capital markets, and portfolio management.
  • Committed to acting in the client’s best interest rather than a sales-driven approach.
  • Clear, professional verbal and written communication with proper grammar and etiquette.
  • Familiarity with SEC and FINRA regulations; must hold or obtain FINRA Series 7 & 66 licenses.
  • Ability to assess client needs, develop strategies, and address complex financial scenarios.
  • Ability to manage multiple client portfolios while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborative, service-oriented, and aligned with a client-first culture.
  • Experience with financial planning software (e.g., Orion, Junxure) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High level of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • High-level computer skills.
