Our client is looking for a Wealth Advisor that will help grow our new wealth management initiatives in the Dallas metro market. The successful candidate must possess an entrepreneurial mindset and be able to use their current network of contacts as well as our own internal and external referral sources to initiate and grow the wealth management business. This position serves as a trusted advisor to our affluent clients with a primary focus on providing comprehensive advice to prospective and current clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and foster meaningful client relationships through outbound calling and networking efforts
  • Introduce and educate individuals on the our approach to investment management
  • Determine clients’ financial needs and areas of improvement
  • Deliver customized solutions to help clients achieve their financial goals
  • Function as the primary trusted advisor to the firm’s high net worth clients
  • Ensure retention of the firm’s clients as well as generate referrals
  • Support the team as a subject matter expert in the areas of investments and financial planning
  • Provide financial planning and investment advice to the firm’s high net worth clients
  • Develop investment policy statement with each client based in their risk tolerance and goals
  • Discuss market trends and review investment performance with the clients
  • Analyze prospective clients’ investment portfolios and introduce new clients to the firm
  • Manage client communications and follow-up with clients’ other advisors

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
  • 7+ years of relationship management with affluent and high net worth clients across a broad array of wealth management products and services including experience with alternative investments. Proven business development results.
  • CPA,CFA, CFP, JD preferred
  • Experience with financial planning software is desired
  • Excellent communication, presentation, listening, and analytical skills
  • Proven time management and organizational skills in high volume, high energy environments
  • Strong knowledge of and the ability to present investment, insurance, and financial planning concepts
  • Must be a self-starter, entrepreneurial, hardworking, team player with a track record of sales success
