About the Role:

You will lead client relationships and play a key role in driving new business development as you help shape the next phase of growth within a well-established RIA. You’ll serve as the Lead Advisor for client relationships, including ultra-high-net-worth and multi-generational families, managing complex planning, investment, and wealth transfer needs while ensuring an exceptional client experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage relationships with successful professionals, entrepreneurs, executives, and families through proactive communication, thoughtful planning, and investment guidance.
  • Drive new business development by identifying and cultivating new opportunities through referrals, networking, and meaningful community engagement.
  • Deliver tailored financial strategies that help clients define, pursue, and protect their goals.
  • Build and execute an annual business and marketing plan aligned with firm growth and personal development objectives.
  • Collaborate with CPAs, attorneys, and insurance professionals to coordinate advanced planning strategies.
  • Conduct in-depth financial and portfolio reviews to ensure recommendations remain aligned with each client’s evolving life and financial picture.
  • Model the professionalism and care expected of a leader, contributing to accountability and consistency across the client experience.
  • Stay current on regulations, solutions, and planning strategies to provide forward-looking insights to clients and the firm.
  • Participate in committees and strategic initiatives that advance the client experience, planning strategy, and investment approach.

Qualifications

  • CFP® certification required or to be obtained within two years of start date
  • Series 65 (or equivalent) required
  • Life & Health license required (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
  • 5–10+ years of client-facing experience with demonstrated success in managing and growing relationships, ideally within an RIA
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentorship experience with the ability to inspire and develop others
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, self-driven approach to business growth and client engagement
  • Advanced knowledge of financial planning, investment management, and wealth transfer strategies; experience with UHNW and multi-generational families preferred
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
  • Technical proficiency with custodians such as SEI and Fidelity, CRM systems like Redtail, and portfolio and planning software including Orion, RightCapital, MoneyGuidePro, Wealthscape℠, and Microsoft Office.
