The Wealth Advisor/Wealth Planner is responsible for managing client relationships within the Wealth Management Group by understanding the client’s often complex financial and personal situation. You will utilize broad-based wealth management knowledge and experience to provide comprehensive solutions. In addition, this individual is responsible for overseeing our financial planning efforts, including, preparing, and presenting financial plans to clients and prospective clients, educating teammates, and evaluating financial planning software.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary advisor and key consultant to designated wealth management clients.
  • Assume responsibility for assigned clients and work with other team members to ensure an excellent client experience.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver tailored financial plans for clients and prospective clients, ensuring our products and services are effectively presented.
  • Engage clients and develop strategies to meet their needs and objectives.
  • Obtain and maintain a working knowledge of financial planning software(s). Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for system changes.
  • Ensure wealth management staff are educated on procedural, compliance/regulatory, and system changes related to wealth management topics.
  • Educate clients on financial, regulatory, and tax issues and their impact on the client’s wealth.
  • Interact with partners and other client advisors (i.e., attorneys, CPAs, etc.) to promote ongoing communication about the client to assure that client’s plan and solutions are current.
  • Ensure all accounts are administered in accordance with established policies and procedures, including timely completion of all required administrative reviews and required compliance documentation.


  • Bachelor’s degree required. Professional certification, such as CFP®, CFA, JD, or CPA, is preferred.
  • Minimum of ten years in an environment focused on wealth management or financial planning. Broad-based knowledge of financial planning, investments, estate planning, tax, and legal, is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate benefits of strategies and products resulting in new business.
  • Ability to make critical decisions independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft
  • Must have the ability to work with multiple systems and be comfortable with software/database applications, including, wealth management and Wealth Management accounting systems.
