Webuild Staffing (www.webuildstaffing.com) is seeking a highly qualified Water Resource Engineer, PE to lead the planning, design, engineering and implementation of stream and wetland restoration, and mitigation banking projects through the Southeast United States.

The ideal individual would have 8+ Years of experience collecting geomorphic, ecological and hydrologic field data, completing feasibility studies, preparing engineering designs and overseeing construction / inspection for river, stream, wetland and floodplain restoration projects. Must have the abilities to engineer sustainable solutions to mitigate environmental impacts, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations within budgetary and timeline constraints.

The Lead Water Resource Engineer will be tasked with working closely with clients, regulatory agencies and internal project teams throughout the United States in preserving and enhancing of thousands of acres of our natural resources (Multiple project sites). Directly responsible for the comprehensive design of river and wetland restoration projects; collecting field data, performing hydrologic modeling, designing engineering plans, establishing specifications, formalizing costs and overseeing construction to comply with stakeholder requirements. The Lead Water Resource Engineer will work in collaboration with biological, wetland teams to ensure successful outcomes for large scale projects, some of which require Rosgen’s Natural Channel Design Techniques, ensuring a scientifically sound approach to stream and wetland restoration.

Position requires a Bachelor Degree in Civil, Environmental or Water Resource Engineering; Master degree preferred. Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, or Kentucky is required. Must have excellent written and verbal communication abilities, as well as, technical skills with hydraulic modeling (Hec-RAS), AutoCAD software’s.
