Growing manufacturer of complex electro-mechanical systems seeks a Supervisor, Logistics and Warehouse for one of its local manufacturing sites. This role is perfect for the experienced logistics and warehouse leader who enjoys a fast-paced environment and working cross functionally.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise stockroom, receiving, shipping, and material handling staff; establish daily priorities
• Manage Cycle Count program and warehouse space utilization
• Coordinate with Planning, Sourcing, Operations, Sales, Finance, and Engineering on material handling and shipping issues
• Oversee trucking and transportation suppliers
• Monitor inventory usage and maintain accurate records
• Design facility layouts for maximum storage efficiency
• Select, train, and evaluate personnel
• Implement safety guidelines and investigate incidents
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience preferred or equivalent experience
• 6+ years in logistics, stockroom, shipping/receiving
• Proven results in manufacturing organizations using Lean principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with highly engineered mechanical products preferred
