Warehouse Manager
Location: Mississauga, ON
Our client, a dynamic and fast-paced organization, is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee and manage all day-to-day operations within the warehouse, including tasks such as picking, packing, receiving, shipping, and inventory control, while ensuring the team meets performance goals and operational standards. The position also requires supervising and motivating staff, maintaining warehouse organization, and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervise and participate in daily warehouse operations (picking, packing, receiving, shipping, quality assurance, inventory control).

Evaluate and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the department.

Manage, schedule, train, coach, and motivate Warehouse Associates and Operations Coordinators.

Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.

Enforce company procedures and policies to achieve operational excellence.

Manage staff performance, set expectations, conduct performance reviews, and hold daily pre-shift meetings.

Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and participate in related initiatives.

Address customer inquiries, collaborating with Customer Service Representatives or responding directly.

Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives, cost reduction strategies, and infrastructure development.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a 3PL environment.

Minimum 3 years of experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) in an Operations Coordinator, Lead, or Supervisor role (preferably HighJump).

At least 3 years of experience leading a team of 5-12 Warehouse Associates (temporary and full-time).

Minimum 3 years of certified forklift operation experience (Counterbalance, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Walkie Rider).

Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and inventory control.

In-depth knowledge of Provincial and Federal Health & Safety regulations.

Familiarity with Lean and 5S principles and methodologies.

Valid forklift certification.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
