Assures the efficient operation of the Warehouse. Supervises the Material Coordinators and handlers. Assures compliance to customer shipping/EDI materials requirements. Manages the administrative, clerical, and business details of warehouse.

Principal Accountabilities

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

Documentation and Information

  • Responsible for receipt of logistics customer orders, planning and scheduling customer shipments for production and service deliveries.
  • Responsible for ordering and scheduling materials from subsidiaries based on customer requirements and schedules.

Logistics activities

  • Responsible for customer shipping using the following systems; SAP, EDI, Ford DDL System, DCX Smart System, DCX ASN, ASNs Ford and Visteon, etc.
  • Monitors customer delivery ratings for shipment.
  • Manages resolution of delivery problems with customer plants.
  • Monitors safety stock levels and provides monthly reporting of inventory levels and important costs.
  • Assists in product forecasting on and as needed basis.
  • Liaison for inter-company and inter-departmental logistics issues.
  • Tracks rejected materials.

Preferred Education, Experience

  • 2+ year’s attendance at a college or university
  • 5+ years’ experience in a Manufacturing/Logistics or Warehouse.
  • Automotive Sector- Production –OEM’s –Tier 1 and 2 preferred.
