Job Description

WHS Adviser role.

Permanent part time

Reporting to Operations Manager

Based in Northmead

Purpose of the role is

Work closely with all levels of the organisation, to ensure compliance with WHS legislation, regulation and codes of practice, as well as local and global company WHS policies, and to develop a thriving safety culture.
Translate business needs and context into WHS strategies and supporting the execution of critical projects to deliver Operations Director

Experience/Skills required for this role
Diploma/Degree in HR or WHS / Certificate IV in WHS

RTW and Injury Management Experience (understanding of legislation)
Experience working in a similar role with exposure to Office, Warehouse and Manufacturing Environments as advantage
Ability to build effective and cooperative relationships with employees and managers to support and enable a productive and positive work environment
Self starter with the ability to multi-task and prioritise
Knowledge of risk assessment, safe work practices, safe operating procedures and safe work method statements
Well presented, highly articulate and enjoys working with people at all levels

Days/Hours: 20 Hours Per Week. Flexible with days and hours. However, will need to be flexible to work across day or afternoon shift when required to ensure all staff have support.
