Voice Engineer

Our Client is looking for a motivated self-starter to help with voice engineering duties and configuration changes for their carrier grade Metaswitch phone switch. These duties may include provisioning adds, modifications, and deletions for enterprise customer accounts, working with other carriers to schedule customer port over activity, creation and testing of Adtran configurations, customer relations and tech support, and documenting of all related activity.

Responsibilities

• Turn up new and modify existing enterprise customer accounts
• Perform customer support duties such as account modifications
• Possess an intermediate to advanced technical understanding of voice technology, terminology, and concepts
• Maintain necessary inventory of network components and equipment
• Possess a deep understanding of VoIP, POTS, SIP trunks, etc.
• Maintain a professional appearance, high standard of customer service, and excellent communication skills
• Ability to effectively assist with the customer training process and communicate the functions of the phone systems

Salary Range
$55,000 - $80,000
