Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy computer vision pipelines for object recognition, scene segmentation, motion tracking, and change detection across high-resolution imaging systems.
  • Develop and optimize algorithms for real-time analysis of EO/IR, SAR, hyperspectral, and full-motion video (FMV) imagery.
  • Engineer solutions tailored for edge deployment with constraints on latency and compute.
  • Integrate perception modules into broader autonomous or semi-autonomous ISR systems.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams focused on autonomy, hardware, and data science to ensure seamless integration and system reliability.
  • Participate in field validation and iterative tuning of algorithms with real-world aerial data.
  • Contribute to architectural discussions, tool development, and strategic planning for long-term technical success.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline (B.S. required; M.S. or Ph.D. preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in applied computer vision, preferably within defense or intelligence domains.
  • Proficiency with Python and major deep learning frameworks (such as PyTorch or TensorFlow).
  • Strong grasp of computer vision tools and libraries (e.g., OpenCV, YOLO, Detectron2, MMDetection).
  • Familiarity with ISR data formats and standards (e.g., MISB-compliant FMV, STANAG).
  • Experience with geospatial datasets, multi-sensor fusion, and perception-to-decision pipelines.

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior work with federal defense agencies or programs (e.g., DoD, NGA, IC).
  • Background in remote sensing, sensor modeling, or calibration.
  • Experience in developing for embedded and edge environments.
  • Active security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.

What’s in it for You:

  • Help shape tools used for national security missions.
  • Collaborate with elite engineers in autonomy, AI, and embedded systems.
  • Work with advanced real-world data and state-of-the-art hardware platforms.
  • Competitive pay and clearance sponsorship.
  • Long-term career growth within a mission-focused organization.
