The Role of the Vice President of Tax:

• Develop S Corp tax reporting structure for detailed and accurate reporting
• Strategic tax planning including accurate quarterly tax estimates and an over-all return calendar
• Manage and facilitate IRS income tax audits
• Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, and communicate effects to senior management
• Develop and maintain strong interface relationships with both corporate and personal tax consultants
• Eventually handle owner's returns and oversight of corporate returns

Background Profile of a Vice President of Tax:

• Experienced tax CPA or JD with expertise in S corps and flow-through entities
• At least 7 years experience working with individual/corporate/partnership tax issues
• Project management and accounting, analytical and research skills
