Job Description
Client Summary:
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Over 30 years of experience delivering technology and data tools focused on healthcare cost management and compliance.
- Serves a large national client base with scalable, cloud-based solutions that support accurate claims processing and payment accuracy.
- Offers analytics-driven tools to identify billing discrepancies, inappropriate utilization, and risk areas across the payment lifecycle.
- Provides trusted fee benchmarking built from large-scale provider data to ensure fair pricing and reimbursement practices.
- Delivers a comprehensive suite of databases and regulatory references to support healthcare organizations with policy and audit readiness.
- Work with CEO to develop comprehensive product strategy for all originated products, which would include determining the need for new, enhanced, or emergent technologies that support the Company’s overall mission, strategic plan and financial goals. Understand current and evolving business goals and translate them into a maintainable product strategy and roadmap.
- Partner with CEO, IT, and Product Development leadership teams in the design, implementation, and maintenance strategies of next generation SaaS and Client/Server based solutions as well as the integration of these systems with our technology partners’ systems.
- Review and analyze existing applications' effectiveness and efficiency, and consistent with our product strategy and market research, develop and recommend strategies for improving, sun setting or leveraging these systems. Where necessary, recommend prioritization strategy of products, features and resources to technical leadership team.
- Develop and coordinate feasibility studies for software and system products under consideration for purchase, and provide recommendations based on findings.
- Work in conjunction with the CEO and Technical Leadership team to achieve the Company Information Technology goals and objectives
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- 5 + years as a Senior Manager/Director/ VP within a Software Development environment
- 3 + years in a leadership role within the healthcare compliance and/or revenue cycle management field
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Demonstrated technical leadership, able to play a key strategic role in the design, implementation and support of business processes and systems
- Must have significant experience with Health Payer Claims Management Systems and Fraud, Waste & Abuse detection
- Strong empowerment leadership skills, allowing front line team members to make decisions as needed with the guidance of senior management
- Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating and working with others across the organization in support of achieving business and technology goals
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Solid business acumen required in terms of executive relationship building and budget management
- Experience within .Net, Java and Oracle development environments preferred
- Masters is preferred
