Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the SVP of Sales for a national fulfillment and distribution provider specializing in automated order handling, fulfillment, and shipping of small package goods.
Responsible for leading sales and collaborating with CEO, President, SVP Sales and other Executives to build Fulfillment Division through shaping of business model, value proposition, target market, vertical market strategies, & brand awareness. Establish presence, brand awareness and thought leadership in the industry through participation in various industry events. Responsible for training, coaching mentoring within a collaborative environment. Provide expertise and leadership in overseeing multiple sales and sales operations functions including all functions related to full life cycle of client engagement such as lead generation activities, business development, new client on-boarding / implementation, customer service. They will play an important role in establishing long-term strategic relationships that typically go beyond the sale of a single point solution. The Vice President of Sales will develop plans to support the achievement of the goals and revenue targets established in the company’s strategic plan. Play a critical role in the evaluation of action plans, goals for revenue, and strategic thinking around new services offered.

Background Required:
  • Sales Management/Team Development within Warehousing & Distribution (7+ years)
  • Omnichannel – (eCommerce/DTC) and Wholesale)
  • Sales Leadership (Interview, Hire, Train, Coach, Mentor)
  • P&L Management
  • Client Management
  • Proven track record of closing accounts
  • Developed and execute business plan strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to apply technology tools (i.e. WMS)
  • Computer literate: Microsoft Office
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Residence: St. Louis, MO (HQ) - (Relocation assistance provided)
