VP of Portfolio Servicing

Position Summary:

The VP of Portfolio Servicing will manage the overall effective and efficient operation of the Loan Servicing and Collections Departments. The VP oversees the daily operations to provide support for both external and internal members as available.

The ideal candidate has prior experience in process, production and customer service along with demonstrated success working in a team environment processing and closing consumer loans. The candidate will also have experience leading a collections team/agency.

Principal Duties Include:

  • Responsible for managing people, service and operations activities of the Loan Servicing & Collections Departments, in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures.
  • Maintain proper staffing and scheduling to ensure excellent member service.
  • Evaluate, design and implement new core and loan origination system.
  • Research and design new Lending products.
  • Perform portfolio analytics including risk assessment and static pool analysis.
  • Build and implement compliant procedures in association with compliance leaders.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of all Regulatory issues
  • Maintain compliance with all State and Federal Lending/Servicing Regulations and Statutes, CFPB and all Credit policies and procedures.
  • Maintain all State and Federal appropriate licensing as required.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in Loan Servicing and Collections activities
  • Process telephone inquiries from members, attorneys and other financial institutions.
  • Professionally resolve complaints from members.
  • Create training schedules and be actively involved in training of junior staff

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 8 years or more experience in consumer lending.
  • Experience in both collections and loan servicing
