Vice President of Loss Mitigation

The Vice President of Loss Mitigation is responsible for managing all loss mitigation activity within the firm's default servicing area.

This is a fully on-site role located in Dallas, TX.

Requirements:

The primary responsibility for this position includes managing all staff, managing the processing of loss mitigation activities, strategies, workouts, customer interaction, loss management, and regulatory compliance.

This role will also manage developing and enhancing reporting, reviewing all workflows for regulatory compliance and efficiency, assessing business controls, revising business controls for maximum effectiveness, and managing all processes related to and interacting with all investors and executive management.

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years managing default mortgage servicing loss mitigation operations.
• Substantial experience managing Loss Mitigation within default servicing, interacting with mortgage collections, foreclosure, bankruptcy, etc.
• Expert knowledge of all investor rules and investor waterfalls for FHA, VA, USDA, GSE, and Bank-owned loans
• Expert knowledge around rules and regulations surrounding loss mitigation, to include loan transfers, acquisition boarding, and in-flight loss mitigation handling
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills, organizational and time management skills, and the ability to interface confidently with clients, auditors, and to influence others in the organization to drive results
• Experience with Sagent preferred
• Experience working with offshore teams a plus
