We’ve been retained by a nationally recognized real estate development company with a major office in South Florida to find an experienced CPA working in public accounting presently, for a VP of Finance, Office of Chairman and CEO role—someone who’s ready to move into a strategic corporate leadership position and take control of their schedule and their life.

A brief overview: "CPA currently employed in public accounting, preferably at the audit manager level, with experience ensuring tax and GAAP compliance, and analyzing budget variances to provide financial guidance for strategic decision-making and investor reporting. Key duties include managing lender agreements, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciling accounts."

Your Impact
  • Build and lead the company’s financial structure for a major new development
  • Manage accounting related aspects of real estate including transactions, development, asset management, leasing, and property management.
  • Ensure all financial activities comply with GAAP, relevant tax regulations, and industry standards.
  • Monitor and manage project cash flows, process construction loan draws, and manage contractor paymen
  • Develop and implement effective internal controls to enhance the integrity of financial reporting and safekeeping of assets.
Who We’re Looking For
  • Based in the Palm Beach County, Florida area
  • 8–10 years of audit experience including leadership/manager role, ideally with a large regional or national CPA firm
  • CPA with expertise in GAAP
  • Skilled in project budgets and financial forecasts
  • Strong communicator who can be trusted advisor to executive leadership
