Vice President of Engineering

Position Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct engineering across software, cloud, data, and developer platform teams
  • Drive execution of product and platform roadmaps aligned to company OKRs
  • Oversee delivery of scalable, secure, cloud-native applications and data pipelines
  • Establish and enforce standardized engineering processes, toolchains, and SDLC practices
  • Promote a culture of reliability, quality, and continuous improvement (CI/CD, DevOps, testing)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leadership (Product, AI, Data, Behavioral Science) on technical strategy
  • Build and develop high-performing, distributed engineering teams and leadership bench
  • Oversee cloud governance, cost optimization, and compliance (HIPAA, GDPR)
  • Contribute to architecture strategy and serve as a technical leader on complex initiatives
Experience & Skills:
Required Experience and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering
  • Significant experience in technical and people leadership roles
  • Demonstrated ability to lead engineering teams and deliver production systems
  • Experience managing and developing engineering staff, including performance oversight
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
  • Experience building and deploying AI-centered systems
  • Experience in healthcare technology or regulated environments
  • Background working with HIPAA-compliant systems and data governance frameworks
  • Experience scaling SaaS or PaaS platforms
  • Prior experience leading distributed or global engineering organizations
Compensation $250k-$300k
