Vice President of Accounting
Position Summary:
We are searching for an executive leader to head up all aspects of the corporate accounting business function, team, strategy and platform, at the highest level, across multiple operating entities. This person will be the senior most leader and right hand to the CEO.
In sum, this is a true corporate accounting leader at the business planning and strategic level, who will work along side (be a part of) the senior executive leadership team (CEO), leading all aspects of the accounting function and team, setting the cultural tone, at the corporate enterprise level and across multiple operating entities. The firm's business model is primarily focused on new development, acquisitions (core, core plus, value add), construction management, fund/investment management and property management. If an individual is achieving success in this field and values quality of life, company culture and being in a highly visible role (creating and driving strategy at the highest level) while adding long-term value growing a career, it will be worthwhile to learn more about this opportunity. This firm is a vertically integrated and privately held real estate investor, developer, owner and operator of class A, institutional quality multifamily and mixed use assets/deals/properties ($60M - $100M+ each) across multiple markets on a national scale.
This firm is established (stable platform and growing) and has the capital and plans to continue expanding their footprint, portfolio and pipeline across multiple states and in all aspects of their business. Timing is aligned and they are hitting their stride; taking all aspects of the business to the next level. This individual will be instrumental in building out the strategy, team, platform, systems, structure, standards, etc.; creating and executing on their long-term vision and strategy... taking them from a merchant and promote driven development business model to a larger programmed “institutionalized” fund and investment management company growing AUM (via development and acquisitions) for longer term hold. They actively have about $1.5B in the development pipeline with an additional 12-14 actively under construction, are launching a $500M acquisitions vertical and are tracking to have $2B+ in the development pipeline for 2025, while also growing AUM for long-term hold. They are known for their incredible culture, capital strength, very talented and well respected executive leadership team, impeccable reputation, high quality (process, standards, product and team) and long-term sustainability.
