Vice President, Reporting & Insights

Our client, a growing private equity firm, is seeking a Vice President of Reporting & Insights, who will lead governance and accounting policy adherence across the portfolio and be responsible for the financial onboarding and integration of the Company's portfolio companies.

The candidate will maintain strong data governance between portfolio company source systems and the Company's centralized data warehouse to ensure data is an accurate reflection of true portfolio performance. This role will also oversee external portfolio company performance reporting, working closely with Investor Relations, deal teams and partners. This role is ideally based in Washington, DC or NY.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the integration of all portfolio company financial data to the Company's data warehouse.
• Onboard newly acquired portfolio companies.
• Review and oversee financial controls across the Company's portfolio and assist with the implementation of required controls.
• Review Accounting policies across the portfolio to ensure all accounting is aligned with Company policies.
• Support portfolio companies on ERP selection and management.
• Provide operational support to portfolio companies where necessary.
• Manage all external reporting to LPs and prospective investors.
• Implement and manage controls to ensure data integrity of the Company's data warehouse.
• Drive ongoing enhancement of new reporting system capabilities to support better insight.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent)
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience focused on general business management and business development
• Qualified Accountant (required)
• TMT experience (required)
• Big 4 experience (preferred)
• Experience in the construction industry (preferred)
• Strong project management skills
• ERP migration experience (preferred)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
