Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer of a growing 3PL focused within the ecommerce retail distribution space. After 11 years the company has 3 facilities across the country, totaling 2.3 million square feet of omni-channel distribution.
Responsible for the management of 360,000 square feet operating in a non-union environment. Will manage three direct reports including: three warehouse managers, and up to 140 full time and temporary associates. Manages standard operating procedures and directs an aggressive operating plan. Operating in a hands-on environment identifies and directs the implementation of cost saving opportunities. Has face-to-face contact with client management and conforms to agreed upon operational metrics. Challenge is to motivate and lead program operational needs while increasing revenues and improving profitability.

Background Required:
  • Third Party Logistics Warehouse Operations Management (10 years)
  • Ecommerce Experience: Pick and Pack, Replenishment, Value Added Services such as GOH (Retail & Apparel)
  • Experience with Pick-to-light system for pick and pack preferred
  • Proven integration of operations and systems requirements
  • Development and execution of strategy / annual plans (budget, operational performance, SOP’s, customer plans, workshops, etc.)
  • Metrics measurements (i.e., labor, quality, employee productivity and efficiency)
  • P & L experience
  • Inventory Management
  • Continuous Improvement Quality process (ie Six Sigma, ISO)
  • Warehouse Management Systems (Synapse, Ramp, or similar)
  • Safety Program compliance (OSHA, Compliance Programs)
  • Computer literate (i.e., Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel)
  • Education: BS or BA degree
  • Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA
