Hire Professionals is thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Emergency Veterinarian to join a thriving emergency practice in the beautiful Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina.

You’ll play a vital role in providing overnight emergency care, internal medicine, and diagnostic services to beloved pets while collaborating with an experienced, compassionate veterinary team. Our goal is to expand our emergency department and add an additional overnight emergency doctor who shares our commitment to excellence in patient care.

🌙 Your Schedule

  • 1 Overnight Shift per Week 6:00 PM – 8:00 AM
  • Saturday Days 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Sunday Days 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM

💼 What You’ll Do

  • Deliver compassionate, high-quality emergency and critical care services.
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage complex medical cases in collaboration with skilled support staff.
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners to ensure understanding and trust.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and uphold the highest standards of veterinary ethics.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture focused on continuous learning and mutual respect.

🎓 Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree.
  • Licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice in North Carolina.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude.
  • Enthusiasm for emergency medicine and a desire to grow professionally.
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply! Mentorship available.

💰 Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 per year
  • Hourly: $100 – $150 per hour (DOE)
  • Sign-On / Retention Bonus: Up to $30,000
