This firm is an independent investment adviser and asset manager that provides research, advisory, and investment services. As a leader in alternatives, they work with institutional investors and investment services across the alternative investment landscape. They provide advisory services to pension funds, endowments, and foundations with over $100 billion of assets.
They are currently accepting resumes for the position of Vice President of Recruiting, to join their growing team of Human Resource professionals. The ideal candidate will focus on recruiting and will add to the team their expertise in all Human Resource functions. Although the primary responsibilities of this position are centered on recruitment, the incumbent will also be expected to provide support for additional essential HR initiatives and duties as assigned.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the recruitment cycle. Conduct vacancy intakes, create job descriptions, source candidates, screen, and schedule interviews.
- Oversee recruitment for multiple departments including Investment Research, Fund Accounting, Client Services, Marketing, Operations, Administration and Technology.
- Manage external recruitment vendor communications.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify role competencies and complete job analyses for each position.
- Deliver a positive candidate experience through consistent and clear communication and manage timeline expectations.
- Partner with HR Director to assess current and future hiring demands, while ensuring quality hires remain within the approved budget.
- Monitor total rewards benchmarks and industry trends to provide insight on compensation packages and offers.
- Measure impact through data collection and analysis using metric insights to drive meaningful improvements.
- Recruit candidates from all states and register our firm with the state’s Department of Revenue and Unemployment Department (if applicable).
- Own the process for hiring employees with work visas and employer sponsorships.
- Assisting with the transition to a new payroll vendor.
- Verify references, employment eligibility, and all background checks.
- All other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors’ degree
- 5 to 7 years of recruitment experience
- Financial service experience a plus
- Strong navigation with Applicant Tracking Systems
- Experience working with work Visas
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite including Excel and PowerPoint
- Must be accurate, efficient, organized, and detail oriented
