Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer for a rapidly growing high volume ecommerce/fulfillment third party logistics (3PL) company. Currently have 4 primary locations across the U.S with many added value service offerings to their clients and prospective customers.
The VP of Sales is responsible for building out a high-performance sales team in support of an extensive growth plan. The primary focus will be leading sales selling omni-channel order fulfilment, warehouse & distribution services, and other value-added services to a defined target customer base. Responsible for training, coaching mentoring within a collaborative environment. Determine the appropriate structure, geographic location, and size for the team to achieve the business objectives. They will play an important role in establishing long-term strategic relationships that typically go beyond the sale of a single point solution. The Vice President of Sales will develop plans to support the achievement of the goals and revenue targets established in the company’s strategic plan. Play a critical role in the evaluation of action plans, goals for revenue, and strategic thinking around new services offered.

Background Required:
- Sales Management/Team Development within Warehousing & Distribution (7+ years)
- Omnichannel – (eCommerce/DTC) and B2B) Fulfillment
- Sales Leadership (Interview, Hire, Train, Coach, Mentor)
- Proven track record of closing accounts
- Client Management
- Developed and execute business plan strategies
- Demonstrated ability to apply technology tools (i.e. WMS)
- Computer literate: Microsoft Office
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
- Residence: Remote Office w/ Travel
- Advanced Degree –MBA
- Transportation & Parcel Services

- Proven Closer
- Good communicator (Verbal & Written)
- Ability to articulate client strategies by using industry knowledge to expand business opportunities.
