VP of Marketing

Position Summary:
The VP of Marketing is reporting directly to the CEO and part of the Leadership Team. Direct management of marketing team, vendor relationships, and a significant marketing budget. Full independence and ownership of ongoing efforts and new initiatives, including branding, eCommerce, merchandising, collateral, and more.
Responsibilities:
● Be an active part of the company’s Leadership Team, influencing the direction of marketing and company-wide operations
● Manage an internal team and external professionals, including recruiting, coaching, project oversight, etc.
● Develop Direct-To-Consumer strategy defining go-to-market approach with effective tactics to drive growth alongside B2B2C channel
● Substantially increase their growth rate by increasing brand awareness, influencing purchase behavior, and improving sales channels
● Oversee online and offline marketing strategy across all channels, including affiliates, SEO, email, social media, influencers, ads, etc.
● Improve existing and build new online channels in the U.S. and abroad such as Amazon, Google Shopping, Mercado Libre, etc.
● Support Sales by developing printed collateral, email messaging, promotions, in-store merchandizing, events, etc.
● Contribute to product development providing own perspective as well as input from customers and market research
● Report on performance against short and long-term objectives and KPIs
Qualifications:
● Doer mindset by own efforts and through others
● B2B2C marketing experience
● 10+ years of Marketing experience
● 5+ years of Marketing Management experience
● Excellent project management skills
● Ability to travel up to 15%
● Experience is preferred in:
○ Public Safety industry in the U.S. and abroad
○ Leading Marketing for a national brand
○ Online Marketplaces
