About the Opportunity

Our confidential client, a leading innovator in secure wireless communications for mission-critical robotics, defense technology, and advanced wireless systems, is seeking a Senior Director / Vice President of Marketing to lead their global marketing strategy.

This is a pivotal, hands-on leadership role that combines strategic vision with operational excellence — building and scaling a world-class marketing organization that strengthens brand presence, accelerates pipeline growth, and drives measurable revenue across global markets.

The selected executive will report directly to the CEO and serve as a key member of the leadership team.


Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and execute an integrated marketing strategy aligned with company growth goals and product roadmap.

  • Build a scalable, metrics-driven marketing organization balancing near-term demand generation with long-term brand leadership.

  • Partner with Sales, Product, and Business Development teams to align go-to-market strategy and execution.

Brand & Market Positioning

  • Elevate the brand as a category leader in secure wireless and advanced connectivity solutions.

  • Develop unified messaging and storytelling across digital, product, PR, and event channels.

  • Serve as a visible brand ambassador at key industry conferences and media engagements.

Demand Generation & Sales Enablement

  • Architect a data-driven demand generation engine that fuels consistent pipeline and revenue growth.

  • Drive account-based marketing programs targeting strategic verticals and enterprise accounts.

  • Align closely with Sales to enhance lead conversion, opportunity creation, and marketing automation workflows.

Product & Partner Marketing

  • Lead go-to-market planning for new product launches and emerging technologies.

  • Translate technical capabilities into customer-centric value propositions.

  • Develop co-marketing initiatives with ecosystem and channel partners to expand market reach.

Team Development & Culture

  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing marketing team grounded in creativity, accountability, and collaboration.

  • Implement repeatable systems and tools for growth, measurement, and performance optimization.

  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Performance & Analytics

  • Establish KPIs and OKRs that measure marketing’s direct impact on revenue, pipeline health, and brand awareness.

  • Leverage analytics and insights to optimize budget allocation and maximize ROI.


Ideal Profile

  • 10–15 years of progressive B2B marketing experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.

  • Proven track record of scaling marketing at growth-stage or mid-size technology companies.

  • Domain expertise in Defense Tech, Robotics, Wireless Communications, or adjacent sectors.

  • Deep proficiency in product marketing, demand generation, and brand development.

  • Exceptional communicator who can simplify complex technologies and inspire internal/external audiences.

  • Analytical, hands-on leader comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to government or defense procurement ecosystems.

  • Experience in venture-backed or high-growth technology environments.

  • Strong background in account-based and enterprise go-to-market programs.
