We are looking for a VP of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage both sell-side and buy-side M&A advisory engagements from inception to close.
• Conduct financial analysis and modeling to evaluate potential acquisitions and divestitures.
• Oversee due diligence processes, ensuring thorough evaluation of financial, operational, and legal risks.
• Identify and engage potential buyers or sellers, developing and maintaining strategic relationships.
• Structure and negotiate deals to align with company objectives and maximize value.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to ensure seamless execution of M&A transactions.
• Provide strategic insights on market trends, industry consolidation, and growth opportunities.
• Develop and present detailed reports and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in M&A, investment banking, private equity, or corporate development.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex M&A transactions.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Excellent negotiation and deal structuring experience.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams in high-pressure environments.
