Job Description

We are looking for a VP of IT, Digital Applications to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for a visionary IT executive to drive enterprise-wide digital application strategy, transformation, and delivery. You’ll play a critical role in shaping the organization’s technology landscape, leading high-performing teams, and ensuring scalable, innovative solutions that support long-term growth.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the digital applications strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals
  • Lead and scale teams responsible for application development, delivery, and support
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives, including modernization of platforms and systems
  • Partner with executive leadership to align IT capabilities with organizational strategy
  • Oversee application architecture, integration, and performance across the enterprise
  • Ensure delivery excellence across software development, implementation, and maintenance
  • Implement best practices in Agile, DevOps, and modern development frameworks
  • Manage vendor relationships, third-party solutions, and technology investments
  • Establish governance, security, and compliance standards across application environments

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of progressive IT experience, including senior leadership roles
  • Proven experience leading enterprise application teams and digital initiatives
  • Strong understanding of modern application architecture (cloud, APIs, microservices)
  • Experience driving digital transformation and system modernization efforts
  • Ability to align IT strategy with business outcomes and organizational growth
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, and cross-functional teams
