  • Positioned in the growing employer-sponsored digital health and specialty care market with a focus on accessibility and clinical quality
Position Responsibilities:

  • Handle controller-level accounting and reporting; own the month-end close process, financial statements, and management reporting

  • Support managed care contracting analysis and ambulatory surgery center negotiations with financial modeling and data
  • Partner with the CEO, Director of Strategy, and board members on financial reporting, capital planning, and investor communications
  • Build out the finance function as the company grows; may manage a junior analyst and work alongside the existing accountant
Experience & Skills:
Required Experience and Qualifications:
  • Controller-level experience with strong FP&A and analytical skills; equally comfortable in the details of a month-end close and the structure of a board-ready financial presentation
  • Early-stage or startup company experience is required; you have worked in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift, resources are lean, and you have to build as you go
  • Deep understanding of MSO structures and physician practice management; experience working within or alongside a Management Services Organization in a multi-site, multi-state healthcare setting
  • Revenue cycle management knowledge; experience overseeing or partnering with an outsourced RCM function in a physician practice or specialty healthcare context
  • Experience with managed care contracting and an understanding of how payer contracts flow through the financial model
  • Audit experience; you have led or co-led an audit and can manage the process independently
  • Technical proficiency: QuickBooks, Excel with strong modeling skills, Athena, Power BI
  • CPA is not required; a career controller with strong analytical skills and healthcare domain expertise is the target profile
