Job Summary:

Our client is looks for a VP of Claims. This position is responsible for leading the Claims operation. The individual is responsible for designing, implementing and enforcing policies and procedures, as well as streamlining effective Claims processes and provide reporting demonstrating the effectiveness of the department. This position is highly visible and requires a strong leader with the ability to prioritize, plan, and direct. They will ensure that all of their agents are adhering to the highest standards of quality through and thorough onboarding process, continuous ongoing training, and a regular cadence of scoring and coaching through Quality Assurance.


Requirements:

· Build and set up the claims department.

· Build a network of service providers.

· Work with Company business partners.

· Review, develop and oversee the entire Claims process.

· Review all processes to determine overall effectiveness/efficiency.

· Responsible for all department KPIs.

· Understand call flow (Five9) to determine most effective manner to route calls and feed calls from dialer to reps (call priority in dialer)

· Plan and implement quality assurance for all processes.

· Responsible for the teams, personnel development, staff meetings, planning, interviewing, team building and department culture.


Education and Experience:

· College degree in accounting/finance/business management preferred.

· 5+ years of Claims experience.

· Previous call center experience.

· Home Services experiences a plus.

· Understands Claims systems and software.

· Excellent interpersonal, customer service, verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office.

· Proven ability to perform strategic planning and priority setting for a Claims department.

· Proven track record for improving process efficiencies and solving problems.

· Strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate direct reports.

· Detail oriented with an Accounting background.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
