VP, Talent Acquisition

The Head of Talent Acquisition will hold primary responsibility for developing and implementing successful Talent acquisition and retention programs. This leader will leverage existing and develop new relationships while resulting in measurable results and new opportunities to expand talent strategy. This leader will be accountable for assessing talent, as a driver of the client's strategic talent strategy initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• In partnership and collaboration with the Head of Human Resources, and the Senior Leadership Team, develop the talent acquisition strategy and execution plan to achieve corporate goals;
• Develop a metrics based, human capital scorecard of key performance measures directly aligned to the company’s strategic mission, i.e.: talent, diversity, satisfaction, turnover, vacancy, and other relevant indicators and results;
• Direct the leaders of high performing recruiting teams with specialization in both high volume, field based recruitment, and office based recruitment;
• Development of a network of potential future hires (e.g. past applicants and referred candidates);
• Oversee workforce planning and strategies for delivery against business goals; shifting from a transactional approach to one that is strategic and forward thinking, i.e.: building talent pipelines for critical roles, utilizing sourcing strategies, develop external partnerships job boards, HR software vendors;
• Collaborate with business leaders to translate hiring projections into talent acquisition strategy and plan;
• Assess, report, and deliver integral data related to talent acquisition to key stakeholders across the business;
• Lead long-range workforce planning than impacts the recruitment, engagement, performance, training, development, and retention of our workforce; Analyze process efficiencies and gaps; introduce and evolve best practices to continuously improve recruitment brand and hiring processes across the enterprise with focus on the candidate experience;
• Provide thought leadership to the evolution of the talent acquisition model in order to provide scale and flexibility; bring an expert understanding of the competitive and talent landscape, keeping abreast of industry trends and bringing market knowledge to bear on competitive external talent trends;
• Manage hiring efforts for Executive positions and other positions identified as key to the business; maintain a strong network and develop effective relationships with executive-level candidates;
• Champion diversity in all aspects of the hiring process;
• Assist Management, Human Resources, and Legal Counsel to identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting the recruiting function (e.g. EEO, FLSA, ADA Title VII, etc.), and monitor exposure of the Company to such regulations;
• Provide input into the development and deployment of a compelling employment brand (external and internal) through multiple channels;
• Promote the Talent Acquisition brand internally through direct internal stake-holder engagement as well as materials and presentations;
• Prepare and review annual recruitment budget and plans;
• Partner closely with other HR leaders such as Total Rewards and HRBPs; • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures and mission statement;

Job Requirements:
• Minimum 10+ years’ experience in of experience managing full-cycle recruiting and employer branding initiatives with proven results;
• At least two-years’ experience working in a health care and/or technology environment;
• Solid understanding of sourcing techniques and tools;
• Experience developing proven retention strategies;
• Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and HR databases;
• Team leadership and acting in a team lead capacity are required. He/she will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policies. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; acknowledging and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems;
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills;
• Ability to be collaborative, influential and manage people who are not direct reports;
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment;
• Self-motivated with strong organizational/prioritization skills and ability to multi-task with close attention to detail;
• Excellent time management skills; and
• Proven ability to work effectively under pressure & meet deadlines.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field - or at least eight years commensurate experience in talent acquisition or human resources at the Director level preferably in a health care setting
