Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the SVP Sales for a premier provider of final mile transportation and logistics solutions supporting regional and national customers throughout the United States. They offer a range of logistics solutions allowing customers to stay focused on their core business. This strategy primarily involves same-day services including on-demand, distribution, and dedicated fleets of vehicles including cargo vans, straight trucks and tractor trailers. Understands that each shipper’s final mile requirement needs are unique depending upon their business and the market they serve. Provides tailored solutions to meet these specific needs. Through years of experience, the management team has a long track-record of developing customized transportation solutions tailored to enhance individual client’s core business strategies. Services include a wide range of door-to-door distribution for clients of all sizes and needs and facilitates shipping locally, and between cities, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
The role of the VP Strategic Account Development is to champion and lead the sales process to new and existing customers and prospects utilizing their proven knowledge and experience to design and develop creative delivery solutions for local, regional, and national customers. This role will have access to a leading team of experts, utilizing the most advanced tools and technology, supporting customers looking for added efficiencies and advantages in their marketplace. Success in understanding the buying process for the purpose of selling final mile, middle mile, white glove delivery services for the 3PL industry is a must. Knowledge of the sales process and solutions to the Technology industry, Health Care products industry, restaurant/commercial supplies industry, and home and business delivery services is a plus. This role involves account management as well in building and maintaining strong customer relationships in a growing and exciting competitive market.

Background Required:
  • Final Mile Sales (8 yrs)
  • Track record of high performance ($5 million gross revenue annually)
  • Big Box or Parcel Final Mile comprehension
  • Pricing analysis comprehension
  • Solution design (engineering, operation trouble shooting, implementation, execution)
  • Computer literate: Microsoft Suite Products and CRM
  • Education: High School Degree and Relevant Experience
  • Residence: Dallas, TX (Relocation and Remote options for top level talent)
