Overview

Peskind Executive Search is representing a high-growth, venture-backed LegalTech company seeking a VP of Sales to lead and scale its go-to-market organization.

This is a true “build and scale” leadership opportunity—ideal for a current Director of Sales ready to step into a VP role within a fast-growing startup environment. The company has strong early traction and is entering a critical growth phase.

The Opportunity

  • Lead an existing team of 3 Account Executives and 1 SDR
  • Drive hiring and onboarding of 4+ additional AEs in the near term
  • Own revenue strategy, forecasting, and execution
  • Partner directly with the CEO and executive team on GTM direction
  • Build the infrastructure for a scalable, high-performing sales org

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team
  • Drive pipeline creation, deal execution, and revenue growth
  • Establish scalable sales processes, KPIs, and forecasting rigor
  • Recruit and build out the sales organization
  • Operate as a player/coach—hands-on in deals when needed
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Leadership
  • Help define and refine the company’s GTM strategy

Ideal Background

  • Current Director of Sales (or equivalent) ready to step into a VP role
  • Experience in LegalTech, Compliance Tech, or adjacent B2B SaaS
  • Proven success scaling teams in early to mid-stage startups
  • Strong experience managing AEs and building teams from the ground up
  • Deep understanding of complex B2B sales cycles, ideally in regulated environments
  • Highly driven, adaptable, and comfortable operating in ambiguity
