Our client is a market leader in cyber-hardened, hybrid fiber-copper networking solutions for wide-area IoT applications including federal, state and local government, ITS, military, utility, rail, telecom and campus applications. Their unique portfolio of hybrid fiber-copper, environmentally hardened aggregation switches, high density Ethernet devices, advanced management software and cyber-protection capabilities, unlocks the hidden value of essential networks, delivering safer connectivity for rapid, cost-effective deployment.
They are looking for an energetic, accomplished sales leader, with proven success in direct and indirect sales to the IoT verticals in Europe to lead their Central European growth efforts in these exciting markets.
Responsibilities:
- Identify potential accounts, creating and leveraging leads
- Effectively convey the value proposition and the competitive advantages
- Build, develop and maintain account relationships – at all levels inside the account
- Leads complex sales process
- Leads the response to tenders
- Manage all activities inside the company related to the account
- Manage a transparent high-quality forecast
- Work along Company’s strategy

Must have attributes:
- Technical background
- Proven success in selling to IoT verticals
- Understanding of IoT vertical needs -ITS (Intelligent Traffic Systems), Rail, Utilities, Energy, Military, Defense agencies
- Working experience in Europe - with track record
- Managed large deals - $ millions
- Excellent English – spoken and written
- Willing to travel extensively
Strong advantage:
- Experience with direct sales to ITS, Utilities, Energy Providers, Railways, & Militaries
- Experience with direct sales to telecoms
- Background in DSL, datacom, Telecom Infrastructure products
- Experience with fix-line operators (ILEC, CLEC)
- Additional languages
