Vice President, Professional Services & Implementation

Public Safety Software CAD 911 RMS

Position Overview:

Peskind Executive Search is seeking a Vice President of Professional Services & Implementation for a leading provider of mission-critical Public Safety software.

This executive will lead Professional Services, Implementation, and Solution Delivery for complex CAD, 911/NG911, RMS, mobile, and related Public Safety technology deployments serving law enforcement, fire/EMS, emergency communications centers, and state/local government agencies.

The ideal candidate brings significant leadership experience within the Public Safety software ecosystem and a proven track record of building high-performing delivery organizations and successfully managing large, complex customer implementations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Professional Services, Implementation, Project/Program Management, and Solution Delivery.
  • Oversee complex implementations of CAD, 911/NG911, RMS, mobile, and related Public Safety platforms.
  • Build, develop, and scale high-performing implementation and delivery teams.
  • Establish consistent delivery methodologies, KPIs, governance, and operational processes.
  • Drive successful execution across discovery, configuration, integrations, data migration, testing, training, cutover, and go-live.
  • Provide executive oversight for strategic customers and complex or at-risk implementations.
  • Improve project performance across scope, schedule, budget, utilization, margins, and customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Support to ensure alignment from contract through deployment.
  • Manage resource planning, implementation backlog, forecasting, services revenue, and profitability.
  • Develop strong executive relationships with Public Safety agencies and government stakeholders.

Required Experience

  • Executive leadership experience in Professional Services, Implementation, Delivery, or Customer Operations within enterprise software.
  • Strong preference for direct experience with CAD, RMS, 911/NG911, emergency communications, or other mission-critical Public Safety technology.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale, complex software implementations.
  • Experience managing and scaling geographically distributed Professional Services and Implementation teams.
  • Strong understanding of state and local government/Public Safety customers and complex implementation environments.
  • Demonstrated success improving delivery timelines, operational efficiency, project profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to engage directly with customers, internal leadership, and implementation teams.
